Hi guys!

I just thought I would pop in here and give you a quick overview of the image that I took a few months ago.  I was stuck on the colour image for some unknown reason.  Friend who I admire quite a large amount.  She is my peer and she’s very talented at what she does, so having the advice was not gonna fall on a deaf ears of arrogance.

She suggested that I should make this image black and white! She actually said (this would be sick in Black and white) if I have remembered in correctly. For the past few years I have been doing everything in my power to get people to pay attention to me, and in that vein I used colour as my primary attraction.  I can honestly say this is not what I am and I have kind of lost my way.  I started out primarily as a black and white photographer, and spent most of my time struggling to see the world in black and white.  I can say that I was successful with that ability, as it has become quite easy for me to see the world without colour.

But in the last little while I’ve had this obsession with colour and it has been rather difficult to break that habit.  With this image I believe I see what she saw and I believe I have on the spark to return to black and white as best and as much as I possibly can.  I know it won’t be overly popular with many few followers, but I’m gonna do my best.  So in that vein here is a couple of images taken over this year that I have turned black and white, one I actually saw in black and white. And chose it as a black and white image as I took it.  I hope you find them attractive and I think soon I’m going to reopen my print sales I hope to see you there and I hope you find something that will look good on your wall.
